Spanish shipyard GONDAN launched C513 on September 10, a 120-metre ocean energy support vessel built for Østensjø Rederi. It is the largest vessel ever launched by the yard.

The Salt Ship Design project includes capabilities for walk-to-work operations, wind energy support, offshore construction, subsea installation, ROV inspection, and cable installation and repair. The vessel features diesel-electric propulsion alongside batteries and shore-power connectivity.

Launch does not mark the end of construction. The next stage includes outfitting and sea trials, with delivery scheduled for late 2027. The design accommodates up to 173 people and provides 1,400 square metres of deck area, including the hangar.
